A compact-sized linestage preamplier with a full-sized presentation. Designed to offers the classic sound of the Marantz 7. The tube compliment consists of (2) 12AX7EH, (2) 12AU7Eh and (1) 5AR4. Cayin's first dedicated high-end preamp, built to the same exacting standards that apply to their integrated and power amps. Yet again Cayin comes through with a gorgeous, hand-made piece - the same classic tube sound and classic tube look. Apparently based on the Marantz vintage design. This is beautifully built and sounds excellent beating my UK AudioNote preamp all day long! Many thanks to UK’s Andrew at Ornec who was very helpful when I needed to ask the important questions! I intend to keep this preamp as a sonic wonder, and a great piece of Hi-Fi Jewellery! – You can’t go wrong superb sound! – thanks Ornec!
