Classic 6.6 integrated amplifier --- Discontinued

No.6.6 is a top-grade integrated transistor amplifier that was launched by Beijing Yushang Electronic Audio Co., Ltd in 2001. Its build features nobleness and elegance. With excellent technology, it is the third generation of product derived from Yushang’s patent circuit. After years improvement No.6.6 has gradually attained perfection.

Features of No.6.6:

1. Pre-amplifier sector:
Regulated power supply uses special SEPP circuit, which can keep an ultra-low noise and ultra-low internal impedance. The open-loop frequency response at pre-amplification attains a wide of 330KHz(2V-3db) and wide of 620KHz(2V-3db) at closed loop. Having no lag compensating capacitor and with less harmonic distortion, its acoustics upgrade to higher level.

2. Power amplifier sector:
The problem of bad common-mode rejection ratio caused by single-end voltage amplification being considered, a dedicated electricity circuit is added to resolve the problem. Penultimate stage driving adopts common-source and common-base circuit configuration, which has the best linearity and also has important action to reduce the distortion-growing problem etc, due to pairs of high power transistors in parallel. Each sound channel has three-group power supply separately feeding to final stage, penultimate stage and voltage amplification stage.

3. Power supply sector:
No.6.6 uses two 450W ring transformers (supply separately to left and right channels) that have, nowadays, the best quality in China. Pre-amp and remote control use a R-shaped transformer. No.6.6 has around 100000μ electrolytic capacitor for filtering,four groups of electronic filters and two groups of regulated power supply.

4. Full-functioned remote control includes ON/OFF, mute, volume and input selection, etc. Exquisite and exalted remote controller is made of costly aluminum alloy and the design of its buttons especially conforms to the principle of ergonomics.

5. Perfect workmanship and construction:No.6.6 has shortcut and rationalized internal connection, and good electromagnetic compatibility. Its potentiometer is pull-rod mode. Thick copper columns are used to connect part of its circuit boards.

Av interfaces are dedicated 3+2 mode both for AV and Hi-Fi and adopt special earth wires switchover selection switch to ensure using Hi-Fi system against interference from AV system. No.6.6 has better adaptability to different kind of loudspeakers and more comprehensive performance.
