The sound of this Pre-Amp is wonderful. It embodies a rich lush articulate sound which captures your emotions. The bass is deep, rich and full. The mids are lush and luxurious. The highs are crisp and detailed, not harsh. The one thing not so good for me in my system is that the gain is too high. But beside that, this is a world class Pre-Amp worth a lot more than the asking price. By the way, build quality is top-notch: point to point wiring, stainless steel chassie, top quality parts, two pre outputs, a voltage selector switch inside for 220v and 110v. Highly recommended.
