Details: Amazing Amplifier
I have received as requested the black gold version.
It does not only look great, it sounds great!!
The sound is Powerfull, it is high in detail and full in colour.
And what a power from this little amp, wow!
The drawback that it only had 1 input group was easily fixed, I added a switch, some wires, and now I have 2 input groups.
The inside also looks stunning, I love the point-to-point wire-ing.
This is and excelent amp to start with!
I am also quite pleased about the service provided by Ornec.
They reply fast on your emails, help you greatly over the phone and afterwards they even send a confirmation per email!
So for service I give Ornec also 5 Stars |

I cannot believe this amplifier has THAT much power! It has unbelievable punch and rthym! Big and Loud sound without missing the details! I am using the same inefficient (84db) speakers that I had for my 60 watt amplifier and it has no problem driving them to full power. Highly recommended as a first tube amp, I can only imagine what it would sound like with sensitive speakers! Shame it only has one input RCA pair, though. On the site the chassis color is blue, but mine came in black. (Improved model?) |
