Details: Annoyingly close to GREAT
First off, this pre-amp SOUNDS fabulous. Warm, open, lush with lots of headroom to feed to amplifier of choice good clean signal at all volumes UNLESS you\'re running multiple inputs. There is significant, distorted cross-talk between inputs/channels so if you\'re running two or more sources at once, NOISE results. The only way I\'ve got past that is to disconnect all but a primary source. This is a real pain in the arse and makes what could have so easily been a truly wonderful pre-amp somewhat of a disappointment. Maybe it is because I had to have mine especially made for Aussie 240V, I don\'t know, and I encourage other users to contact me with their experiences. I would happily give this thing a glowing review but for the unacceptible crosstalk, and probably would have paid more for it too. |
