Well after replacing the fuse,(under the power cord) to a slow blow this amp is singing. As a DIY this amp is an excellent value, rerouting the power switch and installing a soft start circuit mod will be a must. The sound from the 300BC after a 60 hour burn in is already 4 star. The russian made 6n8x2 and 6n9x2 are excellent tubes. The build quality is 3 star but has the potential to be 4 star. |
