Description
The unit is a hybrid CD player with Philips-servo-system CDM-12C/D7-II and 24bit/96kHz D/A converter Burr-Brown PCM1732 with HDCD decoder*). Its output stage is designed in Class A circuitry. Amplification is taken over by tube OPA2604 I/V, responsible for the warm, soft, but, also precise expression of sound.
The player components are mounted in a stable full aluminum enclosure with massive brushed aluminum front panel and good ventilation system. Material dimensions and quality level are outstanding and on a level you might find only with very few other brands.
Design is simple and cool, handling-optimized, excluding unnecessary toys and extravagances, perhaps, just in this way nice.
